Manfred Lamprecht, a JPSI co-founder, manages and leads the global JPSI team. His experience spans 30+ years as a researcher, lecturer, and consultant in the fields of redox biology, nutritional antioxidants, and sports nutrition. From 2013 until 2020, Manfred served as the president and chairman of the Austrian Society of Sports Nutrition. A prolific author and editor, he has published and served as a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. He also edited multiple PubMed-listed books including Acute Topics in Sport Nutrition (2012), Antioxidants in Sports Nutrition (2014), and Textbook of Sport Nutrition (2017). Since 2017, he has served as the host of the Nutraceuticals and Medicine Conference. Manfred’s career has included positions with prestigious institutions across Austria, including the Medical University of Graz, the University of Graz, the Styrian Health Association of Graz, and the Danube University Krems. He has also worked internationally with the European Nutraceutical Association and the Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand. Manfred holds a PhD in Medical Science from the Medical University of Graz, Austria, and a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Graz, Austria. He also holds a habilitation/venia docendi in human physiology from the Medical University of Graz, Austria.
